Brittney's Bachellorette Party!!

Success!! Brittney has survived her bachellorette party! Megan and I, a.k.a. the maids of honor worked day and night to put this baby together! It turned out really quite well. My mother told me not to blog about this because the party was so scandalous--I beg to differ.

I just wont show you the "blankety blank" stuff that we cooked, played with, gave away etc.. haha! Lots of fun. The theme was "How to be Married for the first 10 Days".. We related a lot of it to the movie How to Loose a Guy in 10 Days. It being one of Brittney's favorite movies, we couldn't resist. There were gifts and party favors that went along with the theme. It was a great time.

Thank you to all who came and supported Brittney, she, as well as Megan and I, appreciated it:)

Maids of Honor!!

Bride trinkets..

Fabulous glass for the bride. Wouldn't you agree?

Party goers, Marie and Mckel! Love you gals!

More party goers consisted of Michelle Taylor, Lindsey Bingham, Amanda Wright and Michelle Clark.

The pretty smörgåsbord which consisted of various fruits and dip, the "blankety blank" cookies, chocolate and pina colada drinks.

Each girl was asked to frost herself in diamonds and boas (if you've seen the movie you'll understand this)

Only a smidgen of the gifts Brittney received--the girls were quite generous. The gifts atop the fireplace are the give aways.. When one would win a game she would take her pick of Princess Sophia, Spike, Butch or Crawl the Warrior King. (Again you'll understand if you've seen the movie) I'll say this about the contents, they'll be left to your imagination.

One of our four crazy games, pin the "blankety blank" on a Jonas Brother! HAHAHA! Good times with this one..

Oh boy, this gift may be a bit blasphemous but Megan and I thought it might be funny to give Brittney her first night apparel in this bag. Her and Jeff are being sealed so it works, right?

Megan is convinced Brittney will have a honeymoon baby so she gave her this... just in case.

Time to present Brittney with her "Love Fern".. Another of the movie ideas, HOWEVER, this love fern is a special one, it is eternal, it shall never die or fade because their marriage is eternal!! haha--We managed to get a little bit of symbolism in that night.

Aahhhhhhh.. the trio. It was fun my friends! Love you!

HARE HARE KRISHNA!!

A couple weekends ago the original three got together for what seemed to be a final hoorah for us because of our rapidly changing lives.. Brittney will be married in less than a few weeks Megan will leave soon and I will too!
Its a bit crazy how busy and different our lives are-we rarely get together anymore but when we do its a riot!! One such event was spent at the festival of colors.
It takes place once a year at a Hindu temple in Spanish fork right around the time of Easter and Passover. (Not positive what the Hindu religion celebrates in spring.. a time for colors perhaps!) It was quite the adventurous day.
Seemed kind of like a peace rally.. all would chant, "Hare' Hare' Krishna!" (One of the many gods in Hinduism--perhaps the god of peace..?)

The architecture was breathtaking! I absolutely loved this temple!! Too bad it was being desecrated with colors and disrespectful people.. I wasn't included in such rubbish! ;)

Yes sir i crowd surfed!!! Hahaha! It seemed like a fun thing to do with all the excitement..

...too bad some random jerks decided to steal my shoes and throw them on top of the stage where i couldn't retrieve them... Mad.

Shoeless.. and its a two and a half mile walk back!! What am I to do???

I couldn't believe my shoes were actually taken and thrown. SERIOUSLY?!

Still pretty shoeless... in the bathroom... gross.

THIS IS WHAT I'LL DO!!! There's a bunch of hippies running around with out shoes anyway so i'll just yoink some that aren't being used:)...

... can't believe i did that but at least i don't have to be shoeless on our walk back! hahaha!! YOU STEAL KYLIE'S SHOES AND SHE STEALS SOMEONE ELSE'S SHOES!!

So dirty with colors...

Yes, i shouldn't have stolen shoes BUT at least i didn't have to walk back barefoot:) hahaha--i'm so rude. I'll send them back, I only borrowed them for a while.. mad, that my shoes are gone and i can't have them back... although, it was worth the crowd surfing!
